The formnext 2018 fair in Frankfurt has just opened its doors and will showcase the latest in additive manufacturing in the industry.

Lots of visitors could be seen in hall 3.1 where the additive manufacturing hotspot is. That is amazing regarding the entrance fee of 54 € for a one day ticket. But it also shows they high grade of interest in this innovative technology. Many different machines, materials and solutions are on display. The mood among exhibitors is good and the outlook for their business very good. AM is here to stay and more and more big players are getting into the market. Maybe some not making that big money yet, but if you know about the endless possibilities of AM you can be sure to have a dynamic future ahead.
