Printrbot has closed its door forever

3D printing pioneer PrintrBot seems to have gone out of business. The website currently states that:

Printrbot is closed.
Low sales led to hard decisions.
We will be forever grateful to all the people we met and served over the years.

Printrbot made history, but now is history

Clones and competition from Asia gave them a hard time in the recent years. Also, there was no real innovation seen in follow-up products.
